Updating the Map

 We had a great map when we started but it could be better.  But how to make it better was the question.  In the end, PowerPoint was how I did it.  I pulled the PDF map in.  Then using the snip and sketch tool I added additional tents.  Then I created a text box, added fill color and placed these on top of the existing words.  When I was finished, I printed the page of the PowerPoint to a PDF.
